About the Author

Linda Repasky loves to watch people become entranced by using a tiny needle and thread to make rich, lush creations, and she knows that many of them will develop an addiction to this miniature form of needlework.

After teaching herself to punch, she developed into learning allshe could about this form of needlework and focused on perfecting her skills.

Linda lives in rural Massachusetts, where she savors the quiet country life and continues to hook rugs and do punchneedle work. She also designs and publishes patterns under the name Woolen Whimsies and teaches throughout New England.

Linda has been recognized as one the country's top 200 artisans in Early American Life magazine's 2005 Directory of Traditional American Crafts.
