Rug Show!

On June 21 and 22, the Pioneer Valley Primitives Rug Hooking Group held a special showing of our rugs and punched pieces at the Old Deerfield Craft Fair in Deerfield, MA. Members contributed a wide variety of rugs, ranging from large-scale primitive rugs to more decorative miniature punchneedle pieces. In addition, we offered demonstrations and educational materials for visitors interested in learning more.

Throughout the weekend, many visitors did try their hand at hooking and punching -- we were a particular hit with the local Girl Scout troop who were quite excited to learn a new skill!
